Interrogation, Mind-Control Methods Inspire Naughty Chair Exhibit
In the Naughty Chair is a title that conjures up images of a stern-but-motherly matron scolding a child. But it takes on a much more sinister tone when placed in the context of interrogation, which is precisely what artist Doug Foster has done with his exhibition at London's Lazarides Gallery.
